For thousands of years, frankincense has been burned in temples, carried along ancient trade routes, and used in ceremonies across cultures from North Africa to the Middle East and India. It traveled along some of the world's earliest trade routes, where it was considered so valuable that it was traded alongside gold and precious spices. Valued for both its fragrance and symbolism, it has long represented purification, reflection, and connection. Our slow-infused frankincense resin from the Boswellia tree honors this enduring botanical tradition and invites a sense of ritual into daily skincare.
